Courtney Melvin is a current fifth year student at The Pennsylvania State University. She will be graduating in May 2019 with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree, with a focus in construction.

After her third year, Courtney interned at James G. Davis Construction in Rockville, MD in the interiors division. Here she was involved with an eleven floor interior fit out and learned valuable knowledge about the construction industry. This experience also helped her decide to pursue the construction option. This past summer, Courtney interned at Balfour Beatty Construction in Fairfax, VA were she was heavily involved with coordinating punchlist operations. During the school year, Courtney presently interns for the Office of the Physical Plant in University Park, PA. She is in the Facility Automation Services group were she is involved with scheduling and controls. Upon graduation, Courtney will start working as a Project Engineer at DAVIS Construction.

Outside of academics, Courtney has been involved with THON since her freshman year. She has been a Committee Member on Dancer Relations her second, third, and fifth year and a Cadet on Hospitality her fourth year. In her free time, Courtney enjoys spending time with friends and family, golfing, and traveling.
